23andMe’s Relative Finder Featured on CNN

Published by ErinC at 10:56 am under news

With the help of 23andMe and CNN, two distant cousins were brought together to discuss their shared DNA and their shared passion for genealogy.

The cousins are 23andMe customers Larry Vick of Florida and Robert Stubbs of Missouri, who discovered that they share a pair of great-great-great-great-great grandparents with the help of 23andMe’s newly released Relative Finder.

“DNA proven!” exclaimed Robert as the two men greeted each other for the first time as cousins on camera for a segment that aired last night on the Campbell Brown show.

“It certainly gives these men searching for answers a deeper sense of who they are, and where they come from,”  reporter Deborah Feyerick said of the power of DNA testing.

23andMe will be featured in another Campbell Brown segment tonight, 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
